Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Ki! does not require an account. We do not collect analytics, session data, or any personally identifiable information. There are no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics scripts, and no cookies of any kind on this website.

2. What is processed locally

All prompt text, PII tokens, and masking operations happen entirely on your device. Your prompts never reach Ki!'s servers. The masked text that is sent to your chosen LLM API is processed under that provider's privacy policy — Ki! has no visibility into it.

3. External network contacts

The Ki! desktop application makes exactly two outbound contacts to Ki! infrastructure:

• Licence check — api.getki.ai/v1/licence/check
  Sent once every 30 days. Contains only a SHA-256 hash of your licence file. No email address, no IP address, no device identifier, and no usage data is stored on Ki!'s servers.
• Update check — getki.ai update endpoint
  Contains only your current Ki! version string. No identity is sent or stored.

Both contacts can be blocked by a firewall without affecting core functionality. The licence check has a 90-day grace period — blocking it does not cause an immediate lockout.

4. Cookies

This website sets no cookies. The Ki! desktop application sets no cookies.
