Terms of Service

1. Licence grants

Community edition is licensed under the MIT licence. You may use it for personal and commercial purposes at no charge, without restriction.

Sovereign edition is a per-seat subscription licence. Your subscription entitles the number of seats specified in your licence file to run Ki! with Sovereign features enabled. The subscription is non-transferable and may not be sublicensed.

2. Seat definition

One seat equals one installed instance of Ki! on one physical or virtual machine. Running Ki! on a second machine requires a second seat. Containers, VMs, and CI/CD environments each count as a seat if they run Ki! with an active Sovereign licence.

3. Acceptable use

• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble Ki!'s compiled binaries beyond what is expressly permitted by applicable law.
• You may not share, transfer, or redistribute a Sovereign licence key to machines or users beyond your licensed seat count.
• You may not use Ki! to process data in a way that violates applicable law, including but not limited to GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.

4. Warranty disclaimer

Ki! is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Ki! makes no warranty that the software will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be free of errors.

5. Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ki!'s total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these terms or your use of Ki! shall not exceed the fees you paid to Ki! in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Ki! be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
